| Producing a fine art print with depth and detail is crucial to my workflow as an artist. My goal is to provide buyers and collectors with a print that is of premium quality and archival permanence to be enjoyed for years. At the forefront of printing processes at this time is the professional range of printers provided by Epson. The professional line is far different from your usual desktop inkjet printers. Epson has achieved recognition in fine art printing processes from top galleries around the world such as The Royal Academy of Arts UK, Museum of Fine Arts Boston; and many more professional artists including Joyce Tenneson, George Lepp, Vincent Versace, Bruce Dale, and Greg Gorman to name but a few. The difference in professional Epson prints is in the use of special pigment-based inks. Epson developed a unique micro-encapsulated technology for pigment-based inks in which each pigment particle is coated in resin, yielding an increased colour gamut while retaining the excellent longevity characteristics of pigment inks. This technology has resulted in an inkset called UltraChrome, which has become the standard for the most discerning professional photographers who seek the highest image quality combined with the greatest print permanence. In general, pigment-based inks have greater lightfastness, greater resistance to ozone, and greater resistance to humidity and water than dye-based inks (typical inkjet printers). |
All of my prints are now produced using these high quality materials on a high-gloss, bright white, resin coated photo paper. This special combination of materials has been tested by the Wilhelm Imaging Research to reveal a permanence rating of 104 years for a print displayed under glass. This is the type of quality and stability that I demand and want to offer to buyers and collectors of my fine art Limited Edition prints.
Each photo in this portfolio is available in limited numbers totaling 50 pieces for the 11" x 16" format, and 50 pieces for the 8" x 12" format. Each piece is hand signed in the lower right with archival pigment-based ink and numbered in the lower left. A Certificate of Authenticity will also be provided for each piece to ensure the collectible quality of each print. The certificate displays the date of printing, the print number, the piece title, and the signature of the artist to ensure authenticity. It's my pleasure to provide you with the very best quality in a truly collectable work of art. Please email for details on price and availability |
